Cem Pekman received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Marmara University, followed by a master's degree in Media Systems from the University of Manchester and completed his Ph.D. in Radio-Television at Marmara University. After joining the academy as a research assistant at Marmara University's Institute of European Union Studies, he worked for twenty years at the Faculty of Communication of the same university. He later became a professor at the Faculty of Communication at Kocaeli University, where he currently serves as the head of the Advertising Department, teaching courses and maintaining his interest in various media fields such as radio, television, cinema, advertising, and music through writing and research.
